Upcoming special issue of MAUSAM, Volume 75, Number 1 (January, 2024).
I am glad to inform you that the India Meteorological Department will complete 150 years of its establishment on 15th January, 2025. To commemorate the 150 years of India Meteorological Department, it is planned to celebrate for one year commencing from 15th January, 2024. During the year, numerous events have been planned to highlight past achievements, present progress and future potential.
As one of the objectives planned to celebrate 150 years of IMD, it is proposed to bring out special edition of MAUSAM Journal to highlight the evolution of meteorology in India since 1875.
