Abstract

Based on the data of ten stations located to the west and east of the Western Ghats in the State of Maharashtra and and for period of about 10-11 years, climatological information on the frequency of thunderstorms, their durations, annual and diurnal variation of thunderstorms to the west and east of the Ghats have been determined and presented.
