Abstract

The work presented relates to a pattern recognition study of the Kumaon Himalaya to delineate dangerous and non-dangerous Zone using a priori knowledge of some strong earthquakes that occurred  in the region. The raw data incorporates various geological parameters and processed to extract distinctive   dangerous and non-dangerous features.
