Statistical forecasting of heavy rain and floods in the river Teesta
In this paper association of various heavy rain-producing synoptic systems with intervals of average areal precipitation in the catchment of the river Teesta have been studied by the method of two-way contingency tables for use in quantitative precipitation forecasting.
