Abstract

The different direct and indirect methods for the determination of the fluxes of momentum and heat in the surface layer over the sea are reviewed. Flux-gradient relationships and bulk transfer coefficients in diabatic conditions have been discussed. Comparative discussions have been made about Ri and Z/L.
