Clouds over Arabian Sea during winter

Abstract

Satellite pictures over Arabian Sea off Arabia coast show more or less semi-permanent cloudiness during winter season between 10°-20oN. An attempt has been made to explain the cloudiness in terms of surface and upper air data available in the region.
