Effective pollution potential over ten Indian stations

Abstract

An effective pollution potential index is suggested as a measure of air pollution. Effective pollution potential indices for ten selected stations in India are obtained for each month, season and year. It is concluded that high pollution potential exists over the stations in different months, which necessitates taking precautionary measures.
